Subject: [ChildCare-Parents] Playground Work Day

Please join us on Saturday, 5/16 from 9AM to 12 noon for a community  
playground work day.
 
Jobs include:
Replace shed doors     Move new sand delivery to the  sandbox     Rake and 
clean the  sandbox     Install river stones around the  shed     Touch up 
paint the climber      Fix the roof of the climber     Repair picnic  tables   
  Clean out the shed     Plant  flowers     Paint and fix the fence next to 
the shed.
 
Please bring rakes, work gloves, large shovels, tools etc.
 
Coffee and doughnuts will be available through the morning and a pizza  
lunch will be served at the completion of work.

Dear Friends - 
1.  Please join us tomorrow for the playground work day.  There  is plenty 
of work for everyone - and we do really value your  participation!  If the 
weather is rainy tomorrow morning we will  re-schedule the work day for 
Saturday, 5/30.  You can phone the Center  after 7AM tomorrow 5/16 for an 
announcement if there is any question about  whether the work day will be held.
2.  You may be aware that the Center is going through re-accreditation  by 
NAEYC.  We have just found out that our (intense) site visit will take  
place all day Monday, 5/18 and morning only on 5/19.  NAEYC will have one  
assessor here at those times - so please don't be concerned if you see an  
unfamiliar adult observing your child's group.  If you have any questions  about 
the site visit or the assessor, please contact either Nancy Wagner or  
Heather German.
